About me

My name is Emese (Eh-meh-sheh). I’m a Product Designer based in London, currently working as a Senior Product Designer across the Client Lifecycle Transformation programme at Deutsche Bank.

I approach every project with an open mindset and always ready to challenge the status quo. My skills are utilised best when I can solve complex problems while advocating for the users and also meeting the business goals. I have extensive experience in managing and designing for multiple projects with rapidly changing priorities.

My Story in 3 Steps

Step 1

The Base

2013-2018

I studied Industrial Design Engineering in Hungary and collaborated on designing a smart medical device with Gedeon Richter and won the most innovative thesis award.

During my international study experience, I spent a year in Finland, participating in multiple projects with multidisciplinary groups, and acquiring valuable life skills and a love for saunas.

2017-2020

In the early years of my design career, I worked across digital and print design in Hungary and Italy. Thanks to the variety of design positions, teams, and company cultures, I not only grew as a designer but also as an empathetic listener and great communicator.

Step 2

Entering the UX Era

2020-2022

Over the years, my interest in UX Design deepened, leading me to pursue an MSc in UX Design at Kingston University, London.

Concurrently with my studies, I held the role of UX & Learning Designer and engaged in three extracurricular projects with external companies spanning the fintech and health industries.

Step 3

The Here and Now

2022-Now

My experience collaborating with a fintech company revealed my interest in problem-solving within complex environments. Subsequently, I joined Deutsche Bank's Autobahn Design Team, where I have been contributing to the bank's Client Lifecycle Transformation programme.

Over the past two years, I led over 10 projects, conceptualizing and designing the UX/UI of three brand new apps, as well as redesigning numerous features across existing apps accessed daily by internal users worldwide.

Recognising the high cost and risk associated with the KYC process, I have been focusing on delivering user experiences that not only streamline this complex workflow but also enhance the usability and visual appeal of these applications.
